fragment of text can now be recognised, perhaps surprisingly in view of the
elegance of the hand (see Thomas (1976), 41), as a report of this type.
inpo[, ed. pr. The last letter is a mere trace at the
broken edge. There is no doubt about then, however, and this form is paralleled
in 127.4, 145.2-3, 146.1.
a.: presumably the beginning of the name of
the optio.
The first letter might alternatively be d. C]an[didus (cf. 148) does not seem possible.
