The obvious restoration is mise]ram (so CEL).
At the start tri]/a (so CEL) is impossible. t is very good and i is quite promising for the next letter; this suggests uigin]/ti, a large quantity but not all necessarily for the use of one person. We suggest that Sattua is best understood as a personal name and note the brand Sattuo on a leather patch (VRR II, 93 no.9.i). Fatua is attested as a personal name in Lusitania (LC 264) but we do not think Fattua a preferable reading. paria is no doubt to be supplied after the break.
The double mention of the item is no doubt due to the fact that the second pair of sandals came from someone else (so CEL).
salutare .[, ed. pr. We now think that saluta a me is a more plausible reading; the final trace is exiguous.
At the end Pu[ is also possible.
R]henum (cf. [347].a.1) is a possible restoration.
Tetricum: despite CEL we prefer to retain the reading, against Tetrecum (see our note ad loc. in Tab.Vindol.I).
The words litterarum uestigia, which appear at the foot of col.ii in CEL, should be at the foot of col.i.
